Rebecca Gullion Lindquist, CMKBD
30+ years experience
Rebecca has lived in the Twin Ports area for most of her life, having moved to Cloquet at a young age. Under the encouragement of her father, Rebecca’s early passion for design and constructing things has developed into a 30+ year career as a kitchen and bath design professional. Rebecca holds a B.A.A. in Home Economics & Interior Design from the University of Minnesota and in 1983 she became the first woman in Minnesota to be accredited as a Certified Kitchen Designer. She later earned her Bath Designer Certification and in 2002 became the first woman in Minnesota to earn a Master Designer accreditation, the highest level of accreditation in the kitchen and bath industry.
An enthusiastic speaker at industry conferences, Rebecca also enjoys consulting to a variety of trade and consumer publications seeking her expertise on kitchen and bath design. She most recently consulted to The Wall Street Journal, Better Homes and Gardens and This Old House Magazine. Rebecca’s design work has won numerous awards at the regional, state and national level and her projects have been featured in magazines and books locally and nationwide.
As co-owner of the business with her husband, Bob, Rebecca oversees all aspects of our projects from budget development through the installation process. But paramount is her dedication to creating an experience that exceeds client expectations. Supported by a talented staff of specialists, she focuses most of her energy on creative design work, consulting with clients and tradespeople, and editing project documents.
The mother of two grown children, Daniel and Katharine, much of Rebecca’s time away from work revolves around her family. In her spare time she pursues a wide range of interests including cooking and gardening, as well as a variety of outdoor activities ranging from camping to golf to downhill and cross-country skiing. Rebecca also has a passion for music, playing both piano and guitar, and she is a frequent attendee of concerts and blues festivals.
